I'm starting to look at Rift. So far, not bad. There is the obvious parts the same as wow, but some pretty interesting differences in how you can tailor your character. Graphics are pretty nice too.

Yeah me too. In BoT (25 man) on the trash pulls at the start I was over 28k dps. That is way fun but can't be right.
I've been trying these in heroics, and by the time I've used the GCD's to get rend applied and spread, the mobs are pretty much dead. In ICC last night, the same problem but the mobs had run off...

Mostly 6/12 on Nagrand. Some will try Val if the raid leader is a healer, but usually not.
