I've been tanking on my DK in WotlK and now am just starting in Cata (took it easy to lvl 85 with mostly questing). Must say I absolutely love it.
You do take more damage than warriors or paladins...

The only place where I use bloodstrike is when I'm tanking Keleseth in the Blood Princes fight. Killing of shadow orbs with cleaves is not a good idea.

Also keep in mind that because of the current buff in ICC (30% more health for you) ICC10 is actually easier then ToC10.
