This year has gone by very fast. And it has seen a ton of change in my life. I can only hope that 2009 is a slower year with the rate of change dialed back a bit.

My wife ventured forth with a friend of hers. The crazy early wake up and the whole nine yards. All of our Christmas shopping is done and savings is depleted. But we survive another year.

*side note*

I was silly enough to head over to Best Buy after I bought my monitors.

Even though parking was CRAZY, the store wasn't that crazy and check out was a breeze.

I even got the only item I went in the store for, Supernatural Season 3 for $15.

So all in all, I had a good experience.

I have always said it would take A LOT for me to venture out on Black Friday, and until yesterday I could not imagine anything that would constitute A LOT.

I ventured out at 5am for a 22inch widescreen monitor that I saved between $100-150 on.

It helped that the store was not one of the traditional big sale stores.

I bought two. *big grin*
