Best HC shannox setup for this raid team ?

Hi all me and a friend have started a guild about a month ago, we "should" have rag down tomorrow he was 4% off dropping tonight.

Now ive been reading up on the tactics...and working out whos gonna do what ahead of time so i can let the guys know.

How would you guys work this setup ?

(me) warrrior tank - guessing im on the dog
drood tank - shannox
mage arc/frost -
pally retri -
lock demo -
warrior fury -
Hunter mm/sv

Healers are..
Resto shammy (normaly on raid)
Disc priest
Holy pally

Should work just fine. You'll want the mage arcane, and Hunter Marks.

I find its best if you have your hunter on Face Rag duty and not even worry about doing dps, just have him break face rages, then trap rip. It will make your lives easier for everyone else, and easier life = easier kill. Most likely put the mage on back up if the hunter is the one getting raged.

Other then that, don't stand in traps :P and get the dog's stacks to reset.

IMO, this setup goes fine. Should work just fine. Just as leethaxor puts it, have each of u done your own work.

thanks for the replys guys....we did get rag down on our first try on sunday (after loads of wipes prev raids)
So we will be trying shannox hc on saturday (we only raid sat/sun)
Hopefully we will make a good start

Guys does the dmg to stop the rage have to be a single hit over 30 or 40k ?

This is a fun fight to be a warrior tank. I believe there is a Video somewhere on TankSpot JUST for you, at least I think I found it on tankspot. Anyway, Youtube till you find it, there's an instructional video for tanking the dog, prot warrior POV.

oh wow thanks ALOT that really helped guys...im normaly main tank and tbh i didnt even understand the resetting the stacks part because i was always tanking shannox on normal.....but i hear warrior is best for this job sooooo......here i am. Does look alot of fun !
The dmg increase on the main tank from shannox is it hard for the healers? we have
1 disc (372)
1 pally(373)
1 shammy(normaly raid healer) (368)

If you reset stacks properly the damage on the main tank is completely manageable, obviously if you aren't resetting stacks you'll want to pop a cooldown (and reset stacks properly). As the main tank the trick is not running over an Immolation Trap or letting a melee run over the same Immolation Trap, that'll mess up your day pretty quick.
