Could anyone tell me what the exact formula is for how much rage we gain from damage taken? I've looking all around but I can't seem to find anything. Most results from Google searches are from formulas before Cataclysm. Thanks ahead of time.

Also, I've seen the Blue post saying that even attacks that get parried or dodged will give us rage. I just want to know the exact formula for how much that is.
My google research comes up with the following;or so the internet has us beleive.
- You gain (6.5*weapon speed) rage for each main hand swing, and half that for off hand swings.
- For Physical attacks against you you gain rage =18.92*premitigation damage/your total health.
- Magic attacks give Rage = 20.25*postmitigation damage/total health.
- Rage is truncated to a non zero interger.
- Parrying gives you at least 1 rage
- Dodging gives you at least 1 rage
- Being missed gives you 0 rage
Interesting! Any chance you could link where you found those numbers? And thanks for the response! Greatly appreciated.
