Twilight Dragonscale Cloak
I've been fielding this question for tanks off my server, or from the standard xav stalker. Basically people want to know if they are "bad" for not using the blue cloak. - so I thought i'd just put it here for the sake of completion.
As I'm sure some of you have noticed, with the lack of 372 tanking cloaks available - this has grown a cult following:

In a pure stamina argument, the blue is the route to go. If you assume a standard itemization comparison to see where you end up: Puissant Dream Emerald in the socket (utilized for a general tanking cloak as opposed to a stam item)
Going from turtle to blue:
-45 armour
-68 strength
-15 mastery
-15 dodge
-34 stam
+blue socket +15 stam bonus
throwing in your puissant:
-45 armour
-68 strength
-15 mastery
-15 dodge
+9 stam
+20 mastery
0.25 parry per strength
-45 armour
-17 parry
-15 dodge
+5 mastery
+9 stam
given the equilibrium of mastery/dodge/parry for current gear levels in terms of damage reduction (see rawr)
(mastery=dodge=parry):
-45 armour
-27 RATING
+9 stam
given the stam vs mastery (encounter dependent) argument, and utilizing item budgeting:
20 rating = 30 stam
-45 armour
-21 rating
So in a GENERAL sense, it is a loss going from the epic to the blue. But as always, gear for the encounter that you are currently progressing through.
