3 Possible upgrades... what do I do first...

Ok guys, first off I want to thank the Tanking community for all the help they have given. As I see it, we tank stick together and help eachother out more than any other class!

Ok now that the butt kissing has been completed... let's get on with the question.

I've got a few Triumph badges now and I'm starting to look at purchasing upgrades with them. I've got my eye on three, helm, shoulders, and legs. Below are comparisons of these pieces:

I will ultimately get all of these upgrades since I will gain in ever stat except dodge where I will loose 28. I was wondering if my thinking was correct on which order I should pick them up. I was thinking I should go shoulders, helm, legs since that should minimise any massive losses in any one stat while getting all three. What do you guys think? Should I go in a different order? Should I wait till i can purchase them all at once? (The reason I ask is with a few of thes I'm going to take massive hits, losing 50+ in a stat that i gain back in another piece so till i pick up that next piece i'll be down those stats) What do you guys think? Thanks for all the help!

If you are going to lose huge in one (necessary) stat, save up and replace a couple (or all) at once. You don't want to cripple yourself for an upgrade.

I would go:

1. Shoulders, biggest overall upgrade and are not easily replaceable through ToC
2. Legs, also a nice upgrade but the Leggings of Feverish Dedication that drop off Jaraxxus are much butter.
3. Helmet, not a big upgrade and is very easily replaceable by the Ony 25 helmet.

Although leggings are the biggest UG don't buy 232 Tier, you can easily PuG ToC25 and get a trophy, and who knows you might fluke 245 Legs from VoA too.

Have you got the ring from emblems? If not maybe have a go at that.

This. Moreso the "can't get upgrades elsewhere easily"

Legs can be obtained by VoA25, although its not guaranteed.
Helmet can be gotten from Ony25, but same argument as VoA25.

You have 3 helms to choose from in current content.

Badge Helm of Honor
Wrath Helm
Tier Helm's

Personally I think the Badge Helm has all but the ilvl 258 Tier beat.

If you don't have the Clutch of Fortification from Badges that should be your first purchase as it is BiS.

After that Shoulders are great and will only be replaced by higher Tier versions.

Legs make a nice threat piece but for progression tanking the Fever Dedication 245 or 258 are best imo.
