I. Intro
I am recreating my gear listing to come in line with current other class guides, streamlining the look and listing etc. In so doing I will merge this post with my other for Ulduar Gearing as I progress.
I will begin the guide with the ICC gear, mostly just as a listing as more and more gear drops on the PTRs, once most of the gear is known I will begin to rank it.
In ranking gear I will consider both Effective Health, Threat and Avoidance sets. EH will be determined by the item in slot with the highests EH from the calculator, factoring in full buffs etc etc. Threat set will not just be dps gear, it will be the tanking piece with the highest Hit or Exp to offer, or gem slots to make this happen. Avoidance will be the piece with greatest Dodge, Parry, Miss potential.
If you are unsure of what to use in a situation, use EH slotted item.
I will try to include as many options as I feel are needed, i.e. some slots may have 2-3 items very similar, and these will be included.

Note:This section for the time being is just a listing of possible items, as time passes I will begin to rank these. Gear is from the PTRs, will appear on WoWHead once somebody with the client updates their Cache. Tier is next thing on the to-do list, at last check the Tanking chest still had dps stats however.

Two-Hand - Impressive amounts of sockets on these, if the Hard Mode version adds another socket and maybe 1 with a stamina bonus i.e. Ramaladni's Blade of Culling, possible 3 Blue sockets with Stam socket bonus, probably just a pipedream however.

2 set is advisable, the extra threat from Heart/Blood strike is great (especially for Blood Tanks) and even taunt reduction can come in handy. I would use 4 set, however if you can get higher ilvl slots for Chest and Leggings, break it.
Alliance gear is listed only atm, will work on adding Horde counterparts soon.

Trinkets - 258 Wins, there is some debate over the other trinket however. I personally prefer The Black Heart, averaged out it is worth ~1400 armor if it procs every ICD. And is great for periods of time when you don't take damage and the trinket can cooldown.

IV. Ulduar Gear List
2 Piece grants 10% damage on Rune Strike, do not skip unless you are replacing with 239 or higher gear. It is advisable to collect 4 piece and use it for various situations. The bonus RP from taking that damage can be useful, aswell as the damage reduction.
