Warlord's Depravity or Shard of the Crystal Forest?

I can't decide whether Shard of the Crystal Forest - Item - World of Warcraft is better than The Warlord's Depravity - Item - World of Warcraft

I'm nearly hit capped (need 28 more) which the emblem neck provides, in addition to some minor increase of stamina, defense and dodge. But the Depravity neck gives me more block. I don't know how to add these things up, I'm quite confused about how good/bad block is. Anyone know the answer? :)

In just about every imaginable case you'll want more +hit than +BV. The BV neck is worth picking up if you like to carry around a BV/PvProt set though.

Block value is nice but not enough to make up the difference in avoidance, hit, and stam. No question, IMO.
