Exactly how does the damage mitigation from defensive stance stack with armor mitigation? I haven't been able to find it anywhere. :)

Blah again. I redid my calculations and I was correct in the first place, lol.
Basically, if you have 50% armor reduction and the mob hits for 2000 damage:
2000 damage * 50% (armor) = 1000 damage
1000 damage * 90% (Defensive Stance) = 900 damage
So in the end, you take 900 damage from a 200 damage hit.
Multiplicative, not additive.
50% Damage Reduction from Armor with Defensive stance provides 55% Damage Reduction, not 60%.
multiplicative.
doesn't really matter what order since its multiplying but lets say you have 60% armor reduction.
so you take X damage * .4 = damage taken after armor reduction, then you take that new value * .9 = damage taken after armor reduction and defensive stance.
Damage * (1-Armor Reduction)(1-Defensive stance)
Ah ha...so I'm further behind the Druids than I hoped.
Thanks. :)
If the mob can crush, you can never really be behind a druid. hehe Also add parry and block (although not all that great for mitigation).
Also remember that Defensive Stance works on all damage, not just physical damage.
