I've watched a couple BRK movies and he has an addon that will flash a message when an ability has come off cool down and is ready. From what I found on his site it's a hunter specific add on.

I'd like a generic one. One that will track special abilities for both my warrior and my priest. Abilities I would like to know have come off cool down:

Shield Block
Shield Slam
Concussive Blow
Shadow Word: Death
Mind Blast

etc. . .

I've been searching. . . and searching. . . and trying things out. . . unsuccessfully.

I think our prot pally uses something similar. I'll ask him and post what he uses, if he does.

Thanks, I found one called "Cooldown Timers2" (I think that's it) but it was a bit too bulky for me.

Ghost:Pulse, that should do it. It flashes the icon of the ability that just cooled down in the middle of your screen. You can make it play a sound when an ability cools down, too - the size/alpha are customizable.

Edit: if you're looking for something like that in text form, Parrot, MSBT and SCT can all do that (Parrot & SCT can be found at files.wowace.com, MSBT is listed as 'Mik Scrolling Battle Text' at wowinterface. They all basically do the same thing, they just look a bit different.)

Our Prot Pally said he uses something called "power auras".
