Yeah, I'd wait for beta 2. That'll be a few weeks though.

CombatMonitor2 Threat Data

Satrina,

It would be awesome to have threat data in the recounts/summaries.

Threat per second
Threat per rage
Threat per ability

R,

Cat

Thanks for taking this project on again Satrina.

A few feature requests:

easier ones:
- # of times (and %) mob parried you.
- # of times (and %) mob parried other raid members.

harder ones:
- total (and %) incoming dmg attributable to parry haste effect.
* One potential blunt approach: At combat end, take mob's average swing speed (rolling average of time between swings discarding data around parries) and time in melee range (block of melee events on you - for mobs with chase phases), and figure how many swings should have occurred with 0 parries. Count the damage from all white swings beyond that # as attributed to parry haste. (edit: might also need to keep track of thunderclap/thunderfury/KoT exalted dagger type effects)

-largest all-time 2 second burst (or other arbritrarily short period of time), and ideally mousevoer list of what attacks contributed to said record.

-Estimated time to live in current gear vs. selected mob (to several decimals for the cases of values under 1 second) without heals. Based on averages not spikes.

Next beta - a few weeks. I am fortunate to have a job where I get nice long stretches where I can program addons like a fiend during the daytime. The flipslide to that is I get stretches where I barely have enough time to raid. I'm pretty busy right now with work, so me saying any sort of firm date would be a guess that is likely to be wrong.

Keep in mind that any analysis of outgoing data would come after the core of CM2 is done. CM2 is primarily a damage intake analysis tool. That said, the Threat library (that Omen uses) will allow me to put in outgoing threat analysis considerably easier than it would otherwise be =)

Sorry but Im not very sure of how to express that in english. Just wanted to cheer you up and thank you for everything you are doing to the warrior community.

I also wanted to make sure you have created a lot of expectations with this release (even beta!) and I know you are not gonna fail us

With 2.4 sounding like its going to hit the PTRs this week or next are you going to still release a 2.3 version of the mod or wait and just release a 2.4 version with the new combat log changes? I know you've said you've written it ahead of time to easily make ready for 2.4 CL changes but was curious if your planning on postponing any release till after 2.4
