Well, if the only purpose of your build is maximizing that one ShieldSlam crit, I'd suggest to take some points out of Improved Defensive Stance and even Focused Rage to get another 10% of Strength.

I know that the Strength->SBV conversion is horrible, but I think completely buffed it could give you about 2 additional SBV. Those 2 multiplied by 1.3 (SM) * 1.1 (OneHandSpec) *2.2 (ImpaleCrit) * 1.2 (Deathwish) will increase your RoflShieldSlamCrit's damage by an amazing 7.5 points. Hardly worth noticing, if those few points weren't enough for the 12 k

How much block value do you have in the gear you used? I'm currently assembling my own gear, while wearing 4T6 and 2T5, I reach 1696 Blockvalue unbuffed with the 2T5 bonus and my trinkets (Autoblocker/Glyph) activated.

I still need the T6 head (never thought it would be useful anywhere) so I can wear a chest with BV instead of T6, the chest with BV ^^, the neck from steamvault and the ZA timed run ring. Aside from that the last opinion to increase my bv with items is a Presence of Might on my T6 legs, but that has to wait till I get the tanking legs from Brutallus.

So without gemming for strength I should be able to reach > 1800 BV, about 1830 if I get all the stuff I want.

How many debuffs did you have on Vexallus, and did you get those Crits with your regular talents or with Deathwish/Impale skilled?

Sounds pretty much like you have all the BV Gear I would ever want. I'm not in all that great of BV gear. I have no T6, I use the t5 shoulders/gloves, and I've never been able to get the glyph.

Vexallus is just a very easy target to get a lot of damage on. Assuming you have an amazing group, I'm sure you could do a massive amount more by doing it on heroic and getting twice the add debuffs. I did it with 5 debuffs along with death wish and impale. I happened to have a BM hunter and a MS warrior in the group so that was 7% more dmg as well assuming they were up, which im not certain of.

All in all, my BV with my autoblocker/t5 2pc is regrettably only up to about 1400. I'm sure you can blow it out of the water.

No enrage included (Impale+Deathwish) and the multipliers from the 4-set bonuses of T4 (x1.1) and T6 (x1.1) not included. T5 has a +100 SBV from a 2-set bonus. If you want to try calculating the worth of those options, here's the SBV of the set parts:

T6 = 35 - 00 -- 00 - 00 - 42 (belt has 56)

Anyway, running the 7420 raw source through the multiplier says you could get a maximum of 34,342

You can probably go more by using more than 400 STR, or remembering other debuff multipliers that I didn't consider. I think BM's FR stacks? +dmg taken/dealt stuff might be hard to place along the way, I think a hemo would be +167 dmg. Also, there might be a higher theoretical multiplier off the second MgT boss, Velastrus (sp?)

This would bring you to 35334 with the debuffs you mentioned. Using 2T4 instead of 4T6, the badge legs and Attumen wrists would push that up to ~36585.

As stated above, some things in your calculation are wrong, while there's only a loss of 2 in the SBV of the rings, your wrong Impale modifier will bring your numbers down to 6800 pre-debuffs and to ~31.5k afterwards
