After going through Ghostcrawler's post on "Hybrid tax", I wanted to share a notion that hit me and may get missed by those who read a bit of the mentioned thread and ignored the rest, or who simply didn't click it for having the notion "not again"...
Basically, the argument is that hybrids must have a form of performance tax in order to make sure pures...

At last.
It took a while (15 wipes, I think), but we finally got him after two nights of effort; Malygos, the monkey on our back throughout this content, has gone down.
And it was a wonderful feeling when he did.
Nothing really compares to downing a raid boss with people who are your friends and who have put into it what you have. When he was at about 10% health, with less than a minute to go and we had everyone alive, I just started laughing and didn't stop...

This is not QQ. It is a proven fact. And I'm equally disinterested...

With 3.1 almost upon us and with me having played through virtually all of the content thus far, I figure I should quickly write down my views on the above question because it pops up frequently in both my own head and on numerous tanking related forums dealing with warriors. Things are likely to change around a bit in the aftermath of 3.1, so now seems as good a time as any to establish why you would take a protection warrior to a raid.

Now, I’ve read a great deal regarding this topic and it seems to be up on the news for today regarding patch 3.1; yes, I’m talking about stance dancing and the penalties that go with it. The source of Ghostcrawlers comments, if you missed it, can be found here:

It’s worth a read if you have the time, as there are a lot of particularly valid points raised throughout the discussion. However, one post...
