The guild I'm in is making a lot progress with the 10 man content. We clear ToC 10 regularly and are forming a solid group for heroic mode. Ulduar is doing well, just gotta down yogg and we will be finished with it and start on hard modes and get some achievements in.

The only downside is our raid leader. He is a good leader and knows his stuff pretty well but he gets way too into the game to enjoy raiding. We had a situation earlier this week where one of our healers had to get off...

The new guild is going very well so far since I've joined. We are gearing up people for ulduar by running naxx 25 and uld 10 runs and a lot heroics for badges.

We ran naxx 25 last night and since I didn't need any tank gear anymore from there since I got my 8.5 helm, I got asked to go as dps.

I haven't dps'd in a raid in quite awhile and my fury gear is pretty lame considering it's all offspec gear and I was only pulling around 3k dps on most of the bosses so I think...

I left my guild and have joined a solid progression group of people. They are still gearing for ulduar 10 and 25 which is fine with me since I'll finally be able to my favorite thing which is being a main tank and having responsibility.

When I left the guild, I posted a message on the forum announcing it. I just thanked them for the opportunity and I was deleted within five minutes.

I'll keep our guild's progress up to date raiding

So I haven't been to an Ulduar 25 man or 10 man ulduar with the regular guild in almost two months since I joined one of the top progression guilds on the server. I understand that there are tanks ahead of me that have been with the guild for awhile and that's ok with me.

I got one chance to go to ulduar 25 and my computer decided to have a lagfest and I messed up on ignis causing a wipe because I disconnected and I'm pretty sure thats why I haven't been invited back.

I've found in the new expansion that I don't have to compete for tanking spots in the guild anymore. It could help that I'm the only warrior tank in the guild with decent gear but besides that when people ask for a tank for a raid they give them my name and it makes me feel alot better.

Pre WotLK, I had ok tanking gear, about on the level of TK and Hyjal but I was always overlooked on account I didn't have that super great gear that raids were looking for. I missed out on alot of great...
