Relamun

It's been quite awhile since I've posted anything on here so here's a quick update for anyone who's interested.
I more or less gave up on my Blood Elf paladin awhile back and started up a Human paladin so that I could play with some family and RL friends on a different realm. I hit 70 with my human about 2 weeks before Lich King hit and I'm viewing this an opportunity to start over and a chance to progress beyond the first few raids available. (never got beyond T4 in BC)

So our Kara run on the 17th didn't get very far, a few people had very limited time and our main tank was unable to get on due to some issues with his computer. We downed Attumen and Moroes and that was as far as we got.

This past weekend's run (5/24) went quite well. Here's the rundown (in the order we fought them):
1 shot Attumen (I was OT)
1 shot Moroes (I was MT)
1 shot Maiden (I off healed)
1 shot Opera

Things started off not too bad. We blasted through the trash and 1 shot Attumen (I tanked Midnight until they joined). We kinda 1 shot Moroes. Kinda because things were going fine when one of the 4 adds was feared out of the room, causing a reset. So we repulled and burned'em down. I had some trouble with this fight as I was the offtank and once the adds were down was no longer getting hit and so started running out of mana reallllllly quickly. I did my first Heroic instance a few hours ago. Ran Sethekk Halls for the daily and to knock out part of a Kara quest. I feel like I did a pretty good job, we wiped 3 or 4 times, mostly on Ikiss because we weren't prepared when his AOE went off. I feel pretty good about my performance, I definitely did better then I thought I would, was able to hold aggro throughout most of the instance.

Last weekends kara run went pretty well, Attumen and Morose had been downed earlier in the week and we proceeded to one shot Maiden, downed Opera on our 2nd attempt (healer diconnected in the middle of the first), and then one shot Aran, Illhoof and Prince. I was still having to run as holy, but now we've got a Priest up to 70 who's going to take over my healing spot. Was able to loot Iron Gauntlets of the Maiden off Maiden which gave me a nice boost for most of my stats. I'm now sitting at just...
