Hello. I am Matthew, AKA Mattdeeze. Guess I'll explain the nickname first. A guy I used to work with would make up Psuedo cool names for all the co-workers and started calling me Mattdeeze (pronounced mattdeasy) not sure exactly why, but it wasn't completely offensive and it kinda stuck. lol.

I am the proud GM of the Knights Arcane on Fenris realm. We are a very close knit family type raiding guild. I formed the guild from the ashes of a guild we were in who had a GM completely drop off the radar. From the start we only invited people we have played with and enjoyed playing with. Our only rules were do not under any circumstances beg, and do not disrespect anyone in the game (basically respect yourself and others and represent the guild well). Those rules have stayed in place from day one and has served us very well. Currently we have Ulduar 10's up to Alagon and Ulduar 25 up to Freya (quite proud of that as fenris is a bit behind the curve on progression) Summertime has really put a dent in our Ulduar 25 Progress, but I am hoping we will be getting that back on track very soon.

Although I enjoy playing my Alts, My first love is my Warrior Tank. I love the challenge of holding an entire group or raid together and making order out of chaos (love the former, hate the latter). This site along with Tanking Tips, and occasionally Warlock's Den (for my lock) are my go to sites. Tankspot has taught me so much about tanking, and I know I would be no where near as good as I am without it.

I stuck with my guild because i love the people in it and its finally paying off. By being so selective in who we bring in over such a long time, we have built to the point that we can progress steadily with people we know and enjoy playing with.
