It's been a good run but I finally switched to my feral druid last night for tanking and my warrior has been retired.

Let me make it clear that I'm not QQ'ing about the warrior class and how broken it is. I love my warrior, I've played it for 4 years and used it to clear every dungeon in the game except for SWP (took a break then), including 13/14 Ulduar. I'll miss my Thunderfury but that's more nostalgia than anything else.

Fast forward to the present day:
1) We've killed 10 out of 14 bosses in Ulduar and things are generally fine; but
2) the former MT, who was asked to respec DPS, is now quitting the game because he doesn't find it fun anymore.

Since I've heard of that decision, I have been really wrestling...

So it's Week 3 pretty much done for us and we're now at 8/14 on 25-man.

I am pleased by the guild's progress so far. The attitude of the guild has been great and everyone or mostly everyone has put in 100% in terms of preparation and consumables.

This is the raiding I love and enjoy

A few upgrades for me so far, though nothing significantly huge yet I think (shoulders off XT, bracers off FL, trash boots and T8.5 pants). Still, it's nice to see my gear slowly...

So the servers went down and we barely managed to scrounge a raid together for 2 hours of tries in Ulduar. Initial thoughts:

FL: An easy boss. We had a bunch of fun playing around on the machines though it did take us 3 attempts to kill FL. We only managed to overload him once, that part seems to be the difficult bit (what with people being thrown to wrong locations and dying) but this fight really wasn't as bad as I thought it might be (like...

And so 3.1 is finally about to hit us.

I'm not going to lie, I'm filled with a mixture of excitement and apprehension about Ulduar.

First off, I'm glad it's here. It was quite obvious that people were getting bored just doing the same thing over and over each week and hoping for maybe 1 or 2 pieces of gear to drop.

But, the fact that we still can't kill Sarth +3 during this period scares me. It makes me wonder whether we're going to be good enough to clear...
