I have always killed him with Arcane as it is my normal raid spec. The 40% threat reduction is very helpful.
However mana is an issue and I often find myself wanding him the last 5% - 10%
I plan on trying Frost (very high DPM) next time we kill him as we are trying for hard mode (no saronite vapors).
Since Fire and Arcane are pretty close in DPS and DPM I think I would run in to the same mana issues with Fire. And I would not have the higher threat reduction. So I assume Arcane > Fire for GenV.
yeah i went back and read it in archives.. let me just find out form skunk if there is anything else we need to do with the gbank before i go. He has lead anywho. And he put most of the stuff in the bank anyway. I am just having a shitty time finding an established guild that is doing well. I am finding a lot of new guilds looking for a whole bunch of positions to fill.
yeah thats what i am going with.. i regemmed for stam and i was bad girl and didnt save 1000g for dual spec so hopefully my stuff in the AH will sell today. BTW as far as i know we are not doing 25s yet till we get enough peeps... so if you are ever short anyone.. let me know maybe someone in my guild can help.
