I like to have lots of options in my gear, for max EH, for avoidance, for threat, or block for AoE. As a result I often find it hard to part with old gear as I imagine some role for it in the future.

For the sake of my bank slots I thought I'd make a list of straight upgrades that should have you vendoring the old one when the new one drops, no questions asked.

15k Health and 16k Armor 1 Hour After 70.

I rerolled from an Alliance raiding tankadin to a warrior when the time I had available to play WoW got dramatically curtailed due to work pressures. I figured I would do quests and PuGs, but I wanted to be able to have fun with buddies in Kara on quiet nights as soon as possible.

So I made a plan.

Professions: Mining and Engineering.
These two go hand-in-hand. Engineering is the single best profession...

A successful weekend for me.

Grinding my SSO dailies got me to Exalted with the faction so now Shattered Sun Pendant of Resolve is mine.

Spent all the gold I'd earned doing those dailies on a Belt of the Guardian from the AH. I'm not embarassed by the pally stats, and it'll let me spend my BoJ on other weak gear areas first; as soon as the new Badge Vendor gets unlocked in a week's time.

Finally saw some Kara loot when I won the roll for Vambraces of Courage...

Thinking about intial threat, and why PoM and renew are good heals (yes, I've just come out of H-SH) I've decided PW:S is badly maligned.

It is actually a great help in large pulls for any tank as it lets you get your initial aggro in on all mobs before heal threat starts to hit them.

In this scenario I'd say warriors and bears actually benefit more from PW:S than a paladin who can get threat quicker on all mobs.

We took down Prince Malachezzar for the first time last night. It was the 3rd or 4th go, and we'd lost DPS to not running from Shadow Nova when Enfeebled each time -.-

I'd been really looking forwards to tanking this when I planned to roll this warrior, and it was a lot of fun. But, boy, did I suck. I really started to lose my rotation rhythm when Phase 2 hit and basically started mashing things trying to key Shield Block up, debuff him and so on while dragging him away from the infernals...
