Those that were level 60 when TBC released I think will understand this to a point... For those that did not play until after the TBC release. Paladins used to be Alliance side only, and Shaman used to be Horde side only.
When TBC hit my server, I swear 25% of the population rolled a Shaman (was Alliance at the time). Not a single one of them understood the class. Now you can argue that at that time nobody really understood any class. Other than the EJ site, there was not really...

So I've up and decided to make my own guild. Reasons for leaving the previous guild are maybe for another blog. Long story short, I did not like how the guild was functioning (or not functioning) mostly due to how the officers were handling (or not handling) certain aspects of the game.
This will be the 3rd time I have picked up roots to start new. Granted this time is on the same server with the same character, but it's a new start as far as I'm concerned.

I've seen a statement on this website (and many others as well) that kinda irks me. It has nothing to do with the individual making the comment, nor usually the topic of discussion. I think it's just part of the territory of being a Main Tank. You are looked upon as a leader, a mentor, and one who always knows what to do.
I'm going to try to use a generic topic that I see fairly often. Don't get so much caught up in my example - it's just an example!!!

The long anticipated TBC expansion hits store shelves!!! I go down to the store where I pre-orded it around 11:30 and pick my copy up. By 12:30 I am logged in and questing in Hellfire. I am a level 60 Dwarf Priest with 4/8 T2 and a 31/30/0 Spec. I spend all my free time leveling up my (and my girlfriend's) character. While two-boxing I was able to get to level 70 in about 18 days time. Out of maybe 60 guild members, I am about the 15th (and 16th) to hit 70.

October 2005:
I had been playing the game for about 9 months pretty solid. The server I was on was just starting to venture into the raiding game. I played a Night Elf Rogue. Although the GM and other officers had respect for me as a player, they wanted every player to have an equal chance at raiding, so we had a rotation schedule set up. I was not displeased with this, and pretty much went with the flow. We were able to get Lucifron down, but had trouble with Magmadar. This was before...
