From a Blizzard email:
Our new Recruit-A-Friend program has added features that reward you even more for bringing your friends into Azeroth™. Recruit-A-Friend and earn:
* An exclusive ZHEVRA in-game mount* when your friend pays for 60 days of subscription time.
* 30 Days of FREE** WoW gametime when your friend pays for 30 days of subscription time.
Also, from the moment your friend creates a character and starts adventuring with you (including the trial period), both of you will receive these additional in-game benefits:
* You and your friend will earn triple the experience when grouped together.
* For every two levels of experience your friend earns, they can grant one level of experience to any one of your characters of lower level.
* You and your friend will have the ability to summon each other from any point in the world. | I don't even know what to think about that.

zomg it's a scam!
Seriously, it's so easy to level already and isn't worth ruining other people's lives to play the game. :P

Its over the top too much, IMO. I get a free item in game but drastically altering game play is absurd.

I like it to help get some of my friends who "missed the boat" onboard. Now, if only I could convince my wife to join...
Of course, how many of these do you think will be normal players who just open extra accounts to speed-level their alts, then transfer those alts back to their main account and close the new one once they hit 70?

It's more likely than you think.

Well it will be a boon to the account selling industry. Buy 2 accounts, level to 80, ebay & profit.
Yay capitalism!

1) People with multiple toons at 70 won't be biting on this.
2) The insta-port sounds like the best part of the game. It would really help out the newly recruited who would like some help but their friend is on another continent.
3) I could really care less how much easier they make it to level. I've got 4 70s. Don't want any others (aside from one Ally side). Let the kids have some fun.

I don't mind this, but do think it's a bit stupid. Our guild has a "friends and family" thing, and this would help them get their wives/husbands/friends/neighbors etc leveled up so they can actually enjoy the game.
That some people have 4 or more level 70 toons proves that it was already easy to level. I don't think this hurts anything.

This addition actually has me really pissed off at blizzard. To be fair, I really don't care about the actual changes but here's the deal:
I recruited my little brother 2 days ago. He activated his account less than 12 hours before I received that stupid email. Blizzard hates me.

Yea it definitely sucks for anyone who has recruited already and not gotten any perks from it.
But it could be worse--you could have bought the first iPhone!

I'm actually toying with buying another account and 2boxing, since I'm running out of character space on the realm I play. What I do fear is we're already flooded with fresh lvl 60s entering outlands without a single idea of how to play their class or work in a group, this is just going to excerbate the problem.

Excellent...
Step 1. One million level 80 Death Knights with no prior raid/PvP experience.
Step 2. ?
Step 3. Profit
This could be an attempt to fix the imbalance issue... wait... Nevermind.
