Quick question about lacerate

Do druids get threat per application of lacerate in a similar manner to warriors applying sunder?

and if so, is the innate value affected at all by the presence of mangle?

thanks in advance guys!

EDIT: also posting this cause there is a distinct lack of druid questions here

I'm not sure what you mean by the "innate" threat.

It's going to cause more threat because you're doing more damage. I think that goes without saying. I doubt there's any additional bonus to the base threat generated which is what I guess you mean by "innate."

what i mean by innate threat is when you use any move in the game, you generate threat by using it. essentially a "hidden base" threat value that is applied when a move is successful (not missed, dodged, parried or failed including immunes and "there is a more powerful effect active" or when a debuff applied is at its cap eg sunders at 5).

when devastating you gain the innate threat from actually using (and landing) the move devastate, you gain threat from the damage that is caused and you gain threat from the application of sunder armor (you dont get this bonus when 5 sunders are already applied) all of which is affected by threat multipliers

i was wondering if lacerate application generate that threat similar to sunders - not via damage but just application

Lacerate generates innate threat aside from the damage, yes.

Only the damage is affected by the Mangle debuff, though, and the threat coefficient on damage is 0.2.
