Chest Enchants =o

I just got my T6 chest tonight and I'm deciding which enchant to use. Itemization tells me 15 defense, but I look around and all I see is 150 health. Werd?

I'm looking around on a ton of armorys and all I see is 150 health to chest. For a Tauren, 150 health ~ 12.3 stam. For any other class it is like 13 stam.

15 defense = 14.4 dodge of avoidance

So 14.4 dodge vs 12.3 stam.

Am I missing something?

Simply, since T6 chest is a EH piece (which 99% people socket with 3x stam gem), you play with the strenght of the item and enchant 150 HP

Since your a tauren and will usually have super high health go for the defense it will be more effective.

Use which tanks are available, confident, prepared, and understand what they're doing and know their weaknesses.

Go for def imo, seeing as you've got plenty hp for anything in game but your avoidance is terribly low.

Uhh, I wouldn't even go so far as to say it's TERRIBLY low, he's got 28% dodge. that is not LOW by any means. especially not TERRIBLY LOW.

Hrmm, while I see where you are coming from, it's not completely true. Onslaught chest has more avoidance then Stoicism and the chest off Azgalor. It serves as my EH and Avoidance chest. You gem it with 3x 15 stam because 45 stamina is better then 10 agility, 5 defense and 27 stamina.

And also, you only really enchant/gem to the strength of an item when it is a specialty piece. I will be, along with every other tank, using this until I get the chest of M'uru. Whether it is for avoidance, eh or threat.

I enchanted it at first with 150 health b/c I had the mats in my bank. But I'm probably going to reenchant soon =o

What, the Tauren health bonus doesn't work on 150 health? That's the only reason why it'd be worth less stam for a Tauren than anyone else...

The 150 health bonus is not effected by any racials, buffs, talents which makes it much weaker than it first appears.

Same gearing strategy as any other piece or enchant. Get the EH to survive the burst, then reduce the amount of bursts that happen.

Avoidance is at a premium in sunwell and you already have plenty of EH.

Np, i like being stalked by gnums

In fact Onslaught chest, differently from Lightbringer, has some avoidance.

Idea: get 2 t6 chest, enchant one for avoidance other for stam!
