I need some help about subj. I am took fire resist items for bages and have now 200 FR (someone told me what cap is 365) what enchants and what else i need to buy for completing gear?

I have assembled my fire resist set recently and here are a few things that put you in a good position. Please keep in mind my fire resist set is built to tank the Flames of Azzinoth from Illidan Stormrage so it is geared for that specifically.

The most important piece to get for FR is the badge gear. 100 badges gives you the Legs, Gloves, Chest, and Boots. Then you can also get the aldor fire resistance gear which is going to make up the majority of the difference. The cap for FR is 365 and you can get 70 from raid buffs so that means you need 295 unbuffed. If you add up the badge gear and the aldor fire items then you should actually be over that number (i dont remember exactly). But if you are not then you can add +4 resist to all gems to your FR helm and that should definately take care of it.

Flame bane helm, fire resist ring from some quest, fire resist neck from some quest, void sphere in helm, gladiator helm enchant, bunch of resil gear to get you over crit cap. What I use.

Think the ring is from the Champion of the Naaru chain. Don't remember the neck tho.

40+28 (helm and bracers Aldor) = 68

so 268 + enchs ok

has everything except Arcane resist set which I'd recommend if you want to make the 2nd boss in MrT easier.

All this will yield 297 unbuffed FR (2 over the unbuffed cap) and leave lots of other options in your other slots for hitting 490 def. Good luck

Just worked on this set myself.

4X badge items - threat on gloves, currently cheap stam patch on boots until I can decide what to add.
Fire res patch on chest/legs.
Neck from SMV Grom'tor Chain.
Second tankatronic goggles with HH? FR patch.
Ninja'd spare thorium Cloak with +15 FR enchant.
Flamebane Bracers.
Ring from first boss? in Botanica with generic +10 res to all enchant.

Can't remember if I'm missing anything else, it did work out at 313 FR (so could drop the ring) when I chucked it all on, works fine in MH. Only thing I'd probably do is replace my scryer ench with generic res shoulder (assist with frost) enchant as a general res item on my shoulders when I get something better.

Remember that flask of chromatic wonder gives you +35 to all resistances as well, so in reality you can gain 105 res from non-gear sources (flask + buffs), meaning you only need to find 260.
