TankSpot Gear
Working off one of the earliest ideas our members had, I'm building a TankSpot clothing shop, similar to what other fansites such as Big Red Kitty are running. Here are some quick designs I made in the process tonight:     These are run through Spreadshirt, the chief competitor to CafePress, and the best service I was able to find among the four major shops. Here's the catch. I can't think of too many decent catchphrases or logos for products. I want your ideas and thoughts! Here are the guidelines: - Cannot use Blizzard copyrighted material or trademarks;
- Cannot violate our own content rules;
- Cannot be insulting to other classes (however, can be class pride).
By posting or private messaging an idea, you are permitting me to use it indefinitely (it's still your idea; you'll get credit for it). Take A Picture In Our Clothing!
The perk to purchasing is this -- if you purchase an item, then upload a picture to TankSpot of yourself (or someone you know) modeling the item, you'll get Donor access on our forums.

Something stylistically similar to this: Affordable Trophies - Imprinted Items.
Text could be changed to:
"Property of [Faction] [Class] XXL Tanking Dept."
It could modified for any class and role really.
It would also be nice if the shirt actually said "www.tankspot.com" somewhere on it.  Adding it to the bottom of the graphic would work. Penny Arcade adds a small logo to the upper back of their shirts, and would be another placement option. Speaking of which, Tankspot really needs a logo!

Some of these are really good. 
There's two philosophies involved here, and I'll try to cater to both and put designs together for both. Some of you have mentioned you want these to be something you can wear publicly while others have said you want it to be as blatant as possible. I completely understand. |
