warrior tank ran in 1st as always got about a 6 stack in under 10 seconds i then went on to tank it till 2% when i got bewildered
the best part if have 0 stacks while tanking somwhere are the 30% mark and the warrior offtank who had not had agro since about 95% had a 6 stack. ImageShack - Hosting :: inerfeddodgexz3.jpg

In the past few days got: [item]Mallet of the Tides[/item], [item]Destroyer Handguards[/item] (in love with 2pc T5 bonus) and [item]Kaz'rogal's Hardened Heart[/item] (this one yesterday)
Mallet and T5 gloves took forever to drop, Kaz'rogal shield dropped on our 2nd time downing him

Last night, I got home from work, wondering if I was going to spend the night lvl'n mining and doing loremaster stuff, when I saw a PuG hyjal raid. I asked if they were looking for a tank, and low and behold yes!!!
When I entered the raid, It was comprised of almost half Death and Taxes players, that brought up my enthusiasm for sure!!
Long-story short: It was great, I got [item]The Unbreakable Will[/item] and [item]Onslaught Gauntlets[/item] along with [item]Pepe's Shroud of Pacification[/item] !
3 hour clear of something I have never done with some of the best players in the country was simply awesome!

I'm a casual player, which to me means I can't commit to 25-man raid schedules. I'm very pleased that as WLK approaches I've cleared ZA, have a full set of tanking badge gear, and almost all the DPS gear available to me too. There's just a few upgrades I'm hoping to get, from ZA.
What I'm most proud of is what Cider so eloquently describes as "speed and efficiency". Swiftly clearing an instance gives me a feeling of a "job well done" as a warrior tank. Here are my timings, with mostly badge and heroic gear just before 3.0 hits: - With a group of raiding DPSers, but also some casuals, we can clear Kara in 2:30 without anyone feeling too uncomfortable.
- With a PuG of good players we can clear heroic Shattered Halls fairly reliably in 0:45, from first pull to executioner.
- On my own, I can down Baron Rivendare and save Ysida Harmon in Strat 45, with a few minutes left on the timer.

At this stage of the game it doesn't mean much, but I'm happy to have completed it before the expansion. It was almost all PUGs, has taken me 3 months from the first Trial to the last.

Finally, after close to 100 kills, losing it twice to bad rolls for loot, I finally got the Horsemans helmet last night. WHOOT!
Now to see if I can do as well as my wife and get the sweet headless horsemans ride......

My epeen just got a bit bigger today :P
Solo tanked Jan'Alai. I told everyone to just kill hatchers and nuke the boss all the time and all hug the boss at 35%.
All birds spawned, aoe taunt thunderclap shockwave thunderclap aoe aoe aoe and no more birds. Saved all my cooldowns for that moment and it worked like a charm :P

Edit* wow solo tanking jan is a damn impressive grats!
pre-bc was killing cthun for me. what an epic fight, so amazing!
for the recent weeks - retroactively completing 'classic raider' achievement (and actually having killed them all at level 60), and then a few days later completing outland raider with KJ down!
in the past - actually having achieved all the raid instance attunements before they were nerfed and being first on server to clear BT.

started out tanking heroics,
got recruited to a guild that cleared kara as thier 'heroic 5man tank' within a month I was promoted to MT, helped them clear ssc tk with them. moved into hyjal BT and hit the wall at Bloodboil,
Ninja gquit from my first guild >< not something im too proud of, but got recruited to a guild that was 1/6 SWP helped them progress all the way up to Muru, 25% on phase 1 pre 3.0, given another week I think we could have been on KJ before the patch.
Was able to 1 shot illidan for my first attempt with the guild (they had been clearing for a little over a month) while being the MT. kinda had to learn the strat on the fly, I would have been glad just not getting sheared. to this day I havent gotten sheared.
Idk if you would call me the MT yet.... but I MT muru / and all of BT
as of last week we are 6/6 SWP game over ;D
looking forward to naxx in wrath

Doomhammer, <Rising Anarchy>
Kil'jaeden down
Full Sunwell clear in about 3.5 hours and our first ever kill of KJ. Doomhammer is an old and competitive server, our KJ kill places us around 5th or 6th, but it is still something I am quite proud of.
I sat this one out to let our other prot warrior MT the fight, so no achievement for me, but major kudos to Nakiniwho did a great job tanking it.
