Betrayer vs ironsoul

I went on maxdps and apparently Ironsoul will do more damage than betrayer of humanity in mainhand, can anyone confirm this. As it is a lower dps weapon i cant really see how

Are you arms or fury?

For Arms, I would stick with Betrayer, purely for Poleaxe Specialization. Since you mentioned mainhand I'm going to assume you're fury, in which case maxdps probably weights the armor pen higher than the weapon damage gained from Betrayer.

This should ideally be posted in Gear & Enchanting Discussion - TankSpot

Yeah for fury, Realized after i posted that i put it in wrong place.

Ive got 3 weapons, Betrayer, Ironsoul and Death`s Bite.

Ive decided to go Betrayer in mh as weapon dps is highest.

Now i cant decide ironsoul aor deaths bite in offhand,

will losing 63 hit from deathe bite putting me at 220 hit hut my dps.
Or will the extra wep damage and armour pen from ironsoul make up for it?

Would help if you posted your armory.

If you can keep a Draenei in your group (assuming you're alliance) then you'll probably get more out of Ironsoul since you'll be only just under 8%. If not, then I'd stick with Death's Bite to stay yellow hit capped for the time being til you pick up a bit more from upgrades.

if hes fury he should be able to pick up 3% hit from talents. Hit rating really wont be an issue if he has the talent.

I find this better than MaxDPS Warrior DPS Calculation Spreadsheet - Elitist Jerks

The Elitist Jerks Dps warrior spreadsheet.

Does anyone know if axe/polearm spec is better in all cases or only if you have an ArP proc trinket?

I used to be Arms Hamburglar, And i got Ironsould and i though nice higher weapon dps, Changed to mace spec from Death Bite Axe spec.

And overall the damage difference was dissapointing.

On aoe my dps went down, and on single target it stayed about the same. Axe>Mace . Even with 35%arp from my gear.
