Yeah, pretty much. I keep a spare weapon with Lifeward and only use it for soloing old content. It procs decently enough that a +350~ or so heal over the amount of time that it would take to solo an old raid boss could really add up to a nice increase in health. I believe it heals me for about 20k~ over the course of soloing Attumen, which I'd definitely prefer over the Blood Draining choice there.

In terms of progression or level 80 tanking, Lifeward is pretty much trash from what I've seen though, yeah.

Except that on really hard hitting bosses (say anub25 hc) you'd use an armor pot instead, and then this proc might be nice (say on his stunning Freezing Slash).
