All 3 are perfectly fine for tanking Nightbane in. There is a point in initial gearing where stamina is more valuable than damage reduction. The baseline I use is past that point and to where avoidance awards more points than anything. You can always download the mod yourself and get numbers more applicable to the rest of your gear.

Any reason [item]Honor's Call[/item] is not listed as an aggro weapon? Same speed as the PvP weapons but more dps.

40 block rating becomes 40 defense rating. That would definately add value. Wonder why they stealth changed it?

The Tuskguard drops from Malacrass in Zul'Aman, no badges.
Strange, if they just changed the helm to defense and leave all the other ZA items with block rating. Well, maybe to compensate the missing meta slot.
Damn, that would have been awesome... a helm with 51 BV AND the new meta gem.

My tankpoints mod is giving it a 3000 pt bonus over my faceguard of endless watch!

Bah, this helmet change is teh suck. The ZA helmet was great for a passive crush set. Now it's utterly useless.

| Looks to me like [item]Honor's Call[/item] is a bit on the slow side for an agro weapon, although it wouldn't be horrible. If you can get [item]Latro's shifting sword[/item] I'd go for it.
BTW, last time I ran BM it dropped, and I needed it, but a hunter from my guild (who had been discussing the other drop when I announced I needed it) wrote "that attack power would be nice, although the expertise does nothing for me, I guess if no one else needs it I'll take it" and clicked before I could say something. Outrolled me 27 to 15. He didn't do it on purpose (and apologized) but I'm still irked deep down inside...

It sucks that it feels like extra work, but could someone change the font color for the latest 2.4 changes in the list? That light pink isn't working too well with the new light background  .

In regards to the ZA helmet changes:
Just on the hierarchy of things, don't they generally list defense "first"?
Could this just be a bug?

| I agree i liked it the way it was. But i don't use it anyways. It's still a damn good helm though. T-5 for me

Interestingly i was using 12 dodge rating to cloak. Ran tank point mod and it showed the new 12 defense rating to cloak beating 12 dodge rating. I did the new enchant and lost 50 tank points. Did they do a stealthy change to defense rating? Oh wait it's because i didn't get enough defense rating to get the next defense. Crap short 3-4 defense rating to make it better than 12 dodge rating. |

With regards to Eternal Earthstorm Diamond, it's stacking additively with Shield Mastery talent for a factor of 1.4 (instead of multicatively for 1.43).
Before eternal earthstorm diamond:
On my character info sheet, block value of 354 (with strength contributing 10 block value) gives a total of 470 (354*1.3+10) block value.
After eternal earthstorm diamond:
On my character info sheet, block value of 354 (with strength contributing 10 block value) gives a total of 505 (354*1.4+10) block value.
It would have been 516 block value had the factor been multicatively (1.43) instead of addivitively (1.4).

| So overall you got a 7.4468% increase to total block value using the gem. Damn i should have read this before putting it in my helm. Very close to the 7% i said on page 12 sadly. I was wrong with my math too. You're right it is additive and i didn't even think about listing str for block seperately. Your math looks perfect. Now i'm kinda bummed.
How does this look for a Meta gem now Berg?
