Natural Selection is seeking exceptional players of many classes to progress with us in 25-man raiding in Wrath of the Lich King. We raid from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM on Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday, and Monday nights, CST (server) time. We expect our raiders to attend at least 70% of scheduled raids, and we use EPGP for loot distribution

Who We Are Guild Overview
Natural Selection is a "Serious Casual" later-evening raiding guild for professionals, college students, and others searching for a mature, friendly atmosphere oriented towards hard-mode progression on a 12-hour raid week schedule. We raid from 10:00 pm to approximately 1:00 am Server (CST), Sunday through Wednesday. Raiders are free to do whatever they choose during non-raiding times. However, everyone is expected to prioritize raiding over other aspects of the game during raid time.
Natural Selection is always looking for like-minded players who are mature, fun, and who share our attitudes and goals. This is not an exact science, and you can only make 'rules' to cover so many things. Therefore, our rules are necessarily brief. There are currently four of them. They are primarily intended to ensure that the guild realizes a fun, positive environment for its members.
Raider Requirements/Expectations:
Natural Selection is not a place to “learn to raid.” We expect each of you to learn what you’re supposed to be doing on your own, and then implementing that knowledge.
If you’re always the lowest on the damage charts, or if you aren’t able to cover your healing assignments, or if you keep getting 1 shot as a tank, figure out why and fix it.
Think on your feet. It’s a game, it’s supposed to be fun. So pay attention to what’s going on, and react appropriately. It’s your chance to be a Hero. Seize it!
Recruiting
We strive to build and maintain a strong player base that allows us to excel at what we do.
Basic Requirements
* Age 18 or over. Or can fake it. Here’s a hint: every kid under 17 thinks they’re mature for their age. If you’re gonna fake it, better be good at it.
* No Offensive Character Names. See Rule #1.
Process
Applicants must fill out an application. We want to get to know you. We like each other, and don’t want to bring in someone we’re not going to get along with. We want to see if you’re capable of putting together three sentences without insulting our delicate sensibilities.
Contact someone in-game, or leave an e-mail address. We’ll probably want to talk to you in vent.
Respond to our e-mails and show up to the vent interview.
If we think you’re a good fit, you’ll be offered a trial run with us, or to join us. Or both. Your Raider Candidacy will last one month.
Friends and Family don’t have to go through this process. They just have to have someone vouch for them.
Group Recruitment
Natural Selection may accept couples and groups together, but each individual will be reviewed, interviewed, and scrutinized separately.
