Background
Face on Fire was originally founded in December 2006 as a friend and family oriented Horde guild. Originally formed as a casual guild, for many this was a return to innocence. By the end of Burning Crusade however officers had resumed interest in raiding. The flames of these passions were further fanned by the information coming from the forthcoming Wrath of the Lich King expansion. Since the time of it's release, Face on Fire has progressively grown larger and more successful at endgame raiding. Now with the announcement of Cataclysm and the upcoming release of Icecrown Citadel, the guild prepares itself for more bloody adventures.
Raid Information
Our current focus is ToC, we knock out our regular mode farming Tuesday then move on to the hardmodes Thursday. Since the instance is so short, we also go after Onyxia and possibly OS3D as well for shards and other goodies. Monday nights are retro raid nights, these are not mandatory raids. But they are an excellent source for gearing up alts and working on legacy content that is no longer our focus. Face on Fire uses an EPGP Loot Distribution system for all 25 man progression content, pools are reset with each tier. For more information about EPGP and our raiding rules you can read our
Raiders Handbook.
A Note to Applicants
Face on Fire is a very friendly laid back guild, this relaxed atmosphere is important to us. On raid nights however, we expect our raiders to be prepared for raids. That means, don't be at the Auction House at 6:05 looking for flasks. Be at the Tourney grounds
with flasks. If you need to purchase flasks or other items from the guild bank, contact an officer before the 6 PM raid time. Follow instructions and don't stand in glowing things that deal damage to you.
