The Dread Pirates is a Horde guild on the Blackrock server. We are an 18 years or older guild, and we are mostly made up of working men and women. We offer a lighter raid schedule then most guilds, being Monday, Tuesday and Wensday from 7:30pm (server time) to midnight. We occasionally go over, but it?s very rare. Though we only raid three days a week, we take raiding very seriously. The Dread Pirates is a guild that keeps up with most five day a week raiding guilds, and we expect absolute dedication and performance from our members. We are a fairly tight knit guild where being accepted off you?re trial means fitting into the team as well as being an excellent player. We use a Loot Council for passing out all of our loot.
The Dread Pirates is not a new guild. We have been around since day one of retail WOW and we have a very successful guild model in which we clear content. In TBC we completely cleared BT before the 3.0 Nurf, and Sunwell after the 3.0 Nurf. That being said if you choose to apply to our guild the expectations are very high. You are always required to be completely prepared for the encounters. This includes reading up on the bosses, farming materials and being ready for long hours of attempts.
We currently are bulking up our ranks for pushes on Ulduar hard modes, along with HTOC. All normal 25 man content is on farm!
