We are a raiding guild first. We expect only the best from any and all of our raiders. A few things to know before applying:
Raid times are: Sun/Mon/Tue/Thur 6st-10/10:30st (8est-12est)
Food Buffs/Flasks: Never let that be a question. Assume the answer is always, "Yes". We understand that these items can be expensive and do our best to provide what we can through our Guild bank. However, some of our members hold two jobs, and still maintain all of their consumables and repair bills. With the amount of dailies and the gold that can be made from professions, there is no excuse for lack of materials or money.
Mods: Omen Threat Meter is a must. Big Wigs Boss Mods is a must. Grid is not a must, but if you are a healing class and do not have it, you should. Mods can sometimes bog down FPS on machines that are not as up-to-date as others...we understand this, and if it's an issue while running any or all of these mods, we will work on a solution to get the best performance from our players.
Know your Class: While many of our officers "theorycraft" their own classes, they also study other classes. While we are more than willing to work with you on what specc is considered best, it's much nicer if you already know.
Raid behavior: We raid 4 days a week. All things considered, I do not feel it is a "hardcore" schedule. We take breaks, however when you are in raid and we are clearing a wing, or discussing a boss, we expect you to be attentive and aware of what's going on.
Personal accountability: Raiding is 25 people doing 25 jobs, each responsible in holding up their end. One weak link, and the chain breaks. Excuses, i.e. lag, are not what we like to hear. If you messed up, be the first to admit it when the raid is going over the problem areas from the previous attempt. I promise you that you'll be much more respected owning up to mistakes rather than pawning them off on others. Study boss encounters from strats or videos we post on our pages, and come prepared.
Thank you for taking the time to read over our recruitment thread. Good luck with your applications, we look forward to reading them. For further questions please contact myself (Raax), Atook, Faught, or Churchryn in-game, or you can contact me on Tankspot.
