I read it differently. To me, it looks more like a commando sneak in the back while the main raiding force goes head-on. Almost sounds like the goal of the 5-man dungeon is to disarm him of Frostmourne so that he will be weaker for the raid?

That would be pretty cool. Hope its more like that, I would nt think they would build this much up just to do a fizzle like what i said.

This could be a chance to do somthign comedic with Arthas, in contrast to the usually more serious dialogue of raid bosses (It will be better to get the laughing done now and not when we we fight him with the full raid. Fewer raiders blinded with laughter...)
Something about not one, but TWO Frostmourne's that we are NOT PREPARED for because we attacked TOO SOON. Also, we have to fight him on top of Icecrown, which is kind of like fighting IN THE MOUNTAINS.

I seriously doubt you get to kill Arthas. More that you attack him while he's resting, and he retreats after a short battle and goads you to follow him.

-clear instance
-lich king says "you've done well, now meet my newest creation"
-lich king deathgates out
-5man gets loot, and gets to see arthas again .
