I don't think he said it was vital per se. Just better at rage than shield spec will be.

I would to point out that a talent called "Shield Specialization" shouldn't have anything to do with Dodge or Parry.

Blizz has an endless supply of bones to throw

Yeah, for me I'm getting tired of nawing on the bones Blizz throws at us prot warriors. Rage! That's it? Come on I mean really all this talk for a few points of rage. There is so much play that you can do with us Prot warriors and you throw a few points of rage while other classes are getting buffed here, there and everywhere. I tell you what Blizz let me sit at the table with you people to negotiate some real demands we want to see. Like a lot more single target damage a lot more aoe damge and yes that's right a lot more avoidance.

First give us that then we can start talking. Isn't it kind of what you have done with the Death Knights? Who ever represents Prot warriors at Blizzard have that person tossed. Get us someone who gives a dam. Not some person who shows up to get a pay check.

There's no one person or even team that is just for prot warriors (or warriors or any class in particular for that matter). The class design team works holistically. At least that's the impression I've gotten from how ghostcrawlers talks about the team structures. I could be wrong though but my own experience in game and other design mirrors that too.

As warriors, prot or dps, weve always been forced to feed off the scraps that blizz and the devs throw to us. I like to pretend im eating a fat steak and not soiled pampers. Ive learned to try and roll with it, as much as it bothers me.
