Maybe for trash tanking? I wouldn't want to give up imp revenge for imp cleave personally

THANK THE LORD.

Though, now I will try to allocate 2 more points into shield spec.

Also, the 'other changes' they're not ready to discuss? I can see some good things coming for us warriors in the near future. WTB Shield block rating change.

this is promising, the more promising is the part we he talks aobut they have more, but not ready to say right now.

So we will probably have lots of rage, now i'd like to be able to do something with it other than Heroic Strike Spam.

To be honest...I don't even care if I have a full rage bar. I'll mouse-button HS and/or cleave till the cows come home, I just want to stop being raged starved. I'd gladly sit with "excess" rage even half the time just so I in fact had some when I outgeared content or got a lucky avoidance streak to start a fight.

I agree they do need to make 1hand spec a 3pt talent, considering the change to AttT to bring it in line with bladed armor, and then I dont have to completely reconsider my spec...

I think with the extra rage intake i will be able to safely lose the 3 points from focused rage and put them in for the extra rage there. 3 more points on a dodge, block, parry should makeup for 3 rage on offensive moves

Perhaps i'm alone in this regard, but the change as implemented here isn't quite what i've been hoping for. It looks like this change specifically addresses the rage starvation in content which we overgear, but it does little besides that.

I still recall a post from Ghostcrawler during beta where he stated their views on prot warrior damage. They wanted the warrior to be fighting with his shield (as in the movie 300), instead of hiding behind it. So, by that logic, why not give the shield a swing timer? In my opinion, this would fix two problems, without creating much new ones.

- Sufficient rage generation, also when you are not getting hit (avoidance or OT'ing). Also, when using HS, you would still generate rage with your shield swings.
- A fair dps boost

At the same time, i cannot think of anything which would be broken because of this change.

- DPS warriors are unaffected.
- Prot won't be pulling huge numbers, so there should be no problems with PVP. If anything, it would increase the PVProt viability, as you would actually have some rage to spend.

Yes I see this as a boon to content we over gear, like 5 mans or multi mob trash pulls. And I will gladly take it for that. With bosses that have 2-3 second swing times this isn't much of a real boost to rage at all. But I don't often times find myself with out any rage on those guys if I am not HS spamming too much.

I see this as a major benefit to warriors, and my 3 points will be coming out of focused rage.

3 Rage on Block/Dodge/Parry will not come near making up the loss of Focused Rage.

Looks like Warriors have to skip Improved Thunder Clap to realistically use this, which means others in the raid will have to compensate.

Thank you Tankspot

I have been tanking sense before BC. Protection warriors need a overhaul in there abilities. Im happy that tankspot is there to push it in blizzards face to change some things. I hope that warriors get more rage from avoidance an block. An its screwed up protection warriors dont scale in dps when you get better gear like all the other class types do. Im kind of getting sick of being set aside in my guild tanking for other classes that can do more dps. For bosses that require a timer to beat them on hard mode. Wake up Blizzard your losing people that have been here a long time!
