Main impact of the titanium will be usage for JWC quests, you will be able to turn 5 dusts you get from prospecting for 1 token. It will increase amount of recepies you can buy in first few days.

Actually i think it's 10 dusts per token.

BTW for those hoping to buy up cheap Titanium to prospect or just re-sell, you've seriously missed the boat, prices started rising the moment the details were discovered on the PTR. There's people in my guild sitting on 100's of stacks of ore.

When my server came online I sold 3 stacks of Titanium Ore in the AH for 975G each. Then the price dropped right after that.

Server: Onyxia

I think the Ore is down near 400G per stack now.

Here's a question for JCs

For those that have prospected your small mountain of titanium ore, you probably ended up with a huge number of rare and uncommon gems. The rare gems, with time, can be xmuted to epics, so that isn't a problem. However, that leaves a TONNE of uncommon (green level) gems. Sure, we can deal with the red/orange/yellow by crafting-> DE but is it worth making icy prisms by buying frozen orbs with badges or just buy the damn epics with the badges? After all, one orb costs as much as one epic gem, and when you get icy prism you will have to xmute them to epics.

Since a lot of people are running heroics again, frozen orbs should be in decent supply. Also, buy frozen orbs for like 40-50 g.

Well, let's look at Scarlet and Cadinal Rubies as an example, they are generally the most sought after I find.

A scarlet ruby (prepatch) on my realm cost about as much as a frozen orb. If I am going to buy something for 50g, I might as well buy the scarlet ruby and xmute, or more predictably, the AH price will self adjust cardinal rubies to cost as much as a scarlet ruby + eternal fire.

The rest of the gems are less worthwhile, as they are significantly cheaper than scarlet rubies. Although I do find Eye of Zul to be stupidly conspicous at 3 forest emeralds, I wish it was forest emerald + eternal water. I mean, why did they skip eternal water in xmutes? Green is the least desirable gem, loved mostly by tanks for def/stam.
