I have indeed cleared my cache and wiped all private data using that a few times, and I tried it as I read your post just in case, but to no avail. | yeah, same, clearing it didn't help. only way is proxy, which is really stupid...
I tried from my laptop, same problem. so it's not the computer, it's the connection.
But why would I not be able to access this site, and this site only? I don't get it.

Same problem here, can't get to maintankadin unless through proxy, traceroute looks quite the same as the one posted earlier.
Have tried emptying caches, even tried IE and Opera in addition to firefox which i even reinstalled and updated.
found 2nd page that don't work for some reason too, the "over-achiever" site that Aergis also made. Anyone else having this problem that can access that site?

Maybe someone else here has better experience with networking, but does rebooting your cable/dsl modem give you a different IP? That could be the only other thing I could think of trying, but I don't know if doing that will cause their server to serve you another IP, or if your IP is mostly static no matter what.

This is most odd.

Our server host had his servers hacked a few weeks ago. Apareantly someone was targeting all the canadian sites.... ( I'm not kidding ).
Since then he has been... Overzealous at security imo. Even I have been blocked from my sites, including email, only getting 403 errors.
I've been asking him to back off, that security at the cost of usability is pointless, but he's being pretty paranoid.
Don't worry though, we'll be moving to a new server soon with a few new site surprises coming in the next week or so.

Thanks for the replies, it now works, thanks especially to you Aergis for getting the site to a server which I can get to it from. |

ok, now I'm completely cut out. I was able to access it through proxy until about 2 or 3 days ago, but even them give me a time out now.
I tried everything, but it's not PC related, every computer on my network gives me a timeout.
I don't have a static IP address, so I really don't know what's the problem now.
