Of all the pics to choose for the front page. Ugh. Oh, well. Fame is fame. I even put my TANKS shirt on for the official PR pic.

You are officially epic in my book good sir.

Damn I'll buy Blizzcon tickets to just see this IRL.

That is pure Epicness. Period.

I'd love to show up at an SCA event in that stuff. 'Course, all the hardcore renaissance purists would scoff at the unrealistic preposterousness of it all, but then not a single other person there would look so F---ing AWESOME!

I thought about making a Tauren-sized Gladiator greatsword back when I first got it in S1, when pvp wasn't horrible. I did the math though, and it'd be almost a foot and a half wide and 10 feet long. Was gonna have it just as a wall piece, so was gonna make make it out of wood and fiberglass and paint.

This looks soooooo much cooler than anything I could have come up with. You are one lucky/crazy/awesome guy.

I see the baby toys in the background, might wanna keep the shield out of reach of Jr. That thing would hurt like hell if it fell on him.

Dude this is awesome! I earned my 'tanking wings' in hyjal/BT and rocked onslaught like it was a trophy. I never did end up looting the chest and bulwark until well after wotlk came out.

Helped some guildies of mine get the BT achievement a few weeks ago and the bulwark dropped. Snatched that up fast and hastily made my way to WG for some epic shield slamming. It will probably be a cold day in hell before us warriors get as sweet of looking set as onslaught and i doubt that any shield will look as epic as bulwark.

Good stuff man!

I have been pondering about doing the same thing, though my set of choice is T4 with blazefury and S1 shield. I'm thinking the same construction technique wont work. Love it so far

Dude, you rock and look like an Orc. Paint your skin green at the BlizzCon!

As for your work out, you are going to need to do alot of lower and upper back as well as some shoulders. Don't forget that you will be standing alot and need to get your legs used to the weight of what an additional 200 pounds walking about a good 5 miles feels like. Although 5 miles may not seem like much it's a good starting point to reach to. Don't forget to stretch too!

First off, I'm not in disagreement. I do need to go to the gym. I've gotten pretty flabby since I left the Marines. However, if I can carry all of my gear & a combat load for an M16 and the 240G out to post (probably a good mile hike), I promise I'll have no trouble carrying around 200 lbs of gear well balanced around my body for most of the day.
