Tankadin : Trinket Question

Hello There , this is my first post on tankspot.com and i hope im posting on the correct forums .

Im A tankadin "Ret on armory because i was pvping last night xD" and im having trouble deciding which trinket to pick over the other and would like to hear from you guys .

Currently Im running :

A- Essence of Gossamer
B-Lavanthor's Talisman

Im Defense rating caped with 26.3k health unbuffed and im wondering if i should switch out Essence of Gossamer for Valor Medal of the First War

I kind of like the stam but the proc rate on essence of Gossamer is really low . So what you guys think ?

First things first: Welcome to tankspot!

As for your question, I would strongly suggest swapping OUT the Lavanthor's Talisman for Valor Medal of the First War. The dodge will give you vastly more survivability than the block rating and even the block value will. You will lose some nice burst damage from the on-use of Lavanthor's, but the on-use on the badge trinket can be a wipe-saver. Essence of Gossamer is nearly 1500 HP by itself...even without the proc I would keep it over Lavanthor's Talisman

Send a message via MSN to Worldie
Making it simple: if you are block capped without Lavanthor, you can drop it.

When your dodge + parry + miss + block = 102.4%

It's the same as uncrushable was (from the old TBC days) only instead of addressing crushes the focus is now looking at the ability to block every incoming hit just for mitigation purposes (blocked hit versus an unblocked hit). Past that point, any other block rating you have provides no benefit because you already block every hit that isn't avoided.
