Glyph of blocking

does glyph of blocking stack with the 5% BV meta? and if so is it just additive for a total of 15% more BV or is it a seperate calculation. just got my glyph of blocking so this occured to me.

so far % BV modifiers have been additive, (talent gives 30% this meta gives 5% calculated as 35%) so i'm guessing the glyph will stack as well and give you a net 45%?

yea I'm not good at math, but i've got 973 without the glyph active and 1045 with the glyph active, meaning i got 72 from the glyph.

sounds about ballpark to what I'd be getting going form +35% to +45%.

we'd have to check cuz with small percentages they can "seem" one way or another.

973 / 1.35 = 720 base sbv

720 * 1.45 = 1045.

bingo!

There isn't a single inscriber on my server that has this glyph yet. Not one. It's a sad thing.

i just picked it up today for a mere 20g.
along with the glyph of devastate for 15g

what it does is it creates a buff whenever you use shieldslamm that lasts 10secs and increases BV with 10%, if you got the buff and use shield slam again it will refresh the buff, it seems to stack with shield block and a BV trinket (not fully tested) but all the 3 buffs are showing (glyph of blocking, shield block,BV trinket), so i think they do

The second someone else discovers the glyph it will come down in price, there is just no telling when that will happen.

Lucky you.. went for 70g on my server. Didn't buy it, thought the price will drop. Checked about an hour later, they were all gone.

I have to admit, I was the a$$hat selling them for 270 on my server, until someone came along and dropped the price to 150. Then again, you do not even want to know what it took to get my Inscription to 450. If anyone here is on Stormrage, send me an in-game mail and I will mail you one for free. Yes, I have that much ink leftover from leveling it that I literally need the bank space, even after filling two 32 slot Inscription bags.

haha inscription what a terrible thing to level on a main
Whoa, this is the second thread that I have read back to back that Chobowar has made some rude comments in. How do we report this type of behavior? If I want to read comments like this, I can go to the wow forums.

With the changes to crafted weapons and armor the tradeskills that used to be mandatory aren't so mandatory any more. Herbalism/Inscription may not be the best tradeskill for a plate wearing class, but I bet Bayho made a truck load of gold and has a somewhat steady form of income coming in from the tradeskills that he/she does have.

I feel lucky: a former guildmate mailed me one for free about 5 days ago! Makes me wonder if he was one of the first to get it on Burning Legion (Horde) or at least if he didn't just give me something worth 50+g...

Waiting for 80 to use it though. I really enjoy my current glyphs for solo leveling/random world PVP.

Well, when I wrote the posts above, I was quite poor after finishing off Inscription. Now, I am about to be quite poor again, but it will be after buying the Traveler's Mammoth. I made a lot of money selling off the first Chaos Deck and some other Darkmoon Cards. After that I am picking up some other cash with glyphs, no so much anymore, and weapon and armor vellum III's. I had so much ink left over that I just started selling the vellums for much cheaper than other and in stacks of five. So, I think I am going to singlehandedly bring down the scroll enchant prices on Stormrage, hehe.

However, the only thing that upset me is I am nowhere near getting a full Undeath deck, which many speculate is the tanking deck. Who knows, we shall see. The Chaos deck was an utter disappointment, because it was the one I went for first when trading other cards away, even some Undeath, and it ended up being a damn PVP trinket. So much time and energy in PVE to get that, it pissed me off to no end.

As for my professions, the heal is nice for soloing and even a pinch in dungeons and raids, I can get mats for my guildies to make me flasks, and Inscription at least does have the shoulder enchant. Other than that, I just could not give up becoming a Warrior Poet.

70 gold isn't that much anymore. You can make that back in 20 minutes of questing at 80 or half an hour of farming.
