Thankyou Ghost

A little while back you guys stated you'd fail if MTs weren't evened up, i said if i keep seeing LF certain tank it would also be a fail imo.

Well you nailed it! Thankyou for taking the time and effort to listen to the concerns of tanks and deliver such a successful package.

last night after many frustrations with addons i finally got around to hitting a heroic. It was a blast, fast paced, nice dmg, great fun and never felt overly rage straved. The addon frustration was soon forgotten as we hit up another 3 heroics. Usually after 3 heroics id feel like ive been in a war, but last i couldve easily done another couple. Aoe tanking didnt feel like i could still do it while asleep on the keyboard, nor did it feel like a massive task.

Anyway, i think the balance is fantastic, i dont recall ever having so much fun within the game. At the start I doubted you guys would make the tough calls needed to get us here, clearly i was wrong.

So thankyou GC, im sure once word gets out, there will no longer be a tank shortage. DPS shortage anyone?

I concur whole heartedly. Not more then an hour ago i finished up a shattered halls run. Granted im in full t5+ gear, and it was a normal, on smaller pulls i didnt even really feel raged starved. And going into some pulls doing 3 groups at a time (15-18mobs), it was sooooo incredibly fun. Cycling in thunderclap and shockwave, throwing devastates and shield slams and cleaves where i could....it was a blast. Finally in a place where it doesnt feel like a penalty to be over geared. The dps was good too!. Had a couple fresh 70 guildies with me so they werent doing a ton, but i averaged something like 700 which is nice for a 5man. My pally spent most of his pre3.0 career as protection because it was easier to AoE tank with him then as a warrior, but now i have the freedom to spec him Retribution and keep him that way.

TLR....Tanking 5 mans (even normals) is fun again!!!.

Unfortunately between last night fixing every single addon I could after 3AM(which is when blackrock came back up after "Emergency Maint"), and then the blackout in lawrence mass where I call home, I've been able to only do a few things. Though I am extremely happy with my warrior and the condition we are in. I can only hope the rest of the classes are as happy as we are.

Someone invited me to a za run earlier before I came to work, when I got in they were like oh no we needed a pally to OT. Before I left I convinced them that we didn't, not anymore!

All I can say it you have gotta love this..........

Having not cracked Beta and struggled to get on the ptr and when I did lag was so bad I didnt manage ever, to do any thing, last night was noobville again for me. Spend most of it trying to get some order in my various toons (new hunter pets -cool), I finally managed to get out of town and grind a few mods - omg was shocked at the damage increase 3 shotting mobs I used to take a week to kill.

Now just need to sort out that massive def hole

But very happy thanks

I'm almost afraid to post my "me too!" for fear of inviting a visit from the nerf bat. But what the hell. I started with a visit to MgT. Gave up bothering to mark after the second pack and just blasted through everything. Even the fish packs stuck to me. Finished in under 30 minutes.

A while later I went to Kara with a pug and solo tanked the lot without so much as a hiccup. If I'd had any more fun I probably would have exploded. Rage was never an issue. TPS (according to Omen) was obscene. DPS was amazing - I was averaging around 1300 on bosses. The whole charge/shockwave/thunderclap/shield block/shield slam thing had me giggling all the way through the run.

Thank you Blizzard. Thank you Ghostcrawler. Please don't nerf us
