First, I'm sry if this was already asked but I couldn't find any topic about this.

I rly want to know who wins for a PvE build? For example, how much AP do I need to counter the 84 Armor Penetration (+0.789% dmg) bonus from the S3 gear?

Becuase, while I like the new Dual Wield gear from badges, some S3 gear are great (like the chest).

That would depend almost entirely on how much AP you already have.

Figure out how much AP would increase your damage by 0.789%

not just that but 84 armor pen isn't a static .789% increase in damage.

against a plate wearer 84 armor pen isn't very much % wise decrease.

However against a cloth wearer, that same 84 armor pen is a much higher % damage increase.

In a pve environ the mobs AC should be fairly low 5 sunder CoR fairy fire etc will all add up to a significant decrease in AC making Armor pen fairly potent but i am not sure the AP to ArmPen conversion for an "average" boss
