I feel your pain Premed. I had to contact a horde guild on my server to get my belt crafted. And finally weeks after I got it, the pattern dropped for us >_<. I am STILL waiting for [item]Steelhawk Crossbow[/item] to drop for me... I've done Kara almost every week since March and its still has never dropped for me. Damn near everyone in my guild has that thing and they torment me with it. I have pallies randomly open trade with me just to taunt me so. Arg...

Yeah, tank gear drops slower than blind-faith home-schooled virgin. In Kara, in almost six months, we have seen one Bane BP, and a few weeks back our first tank belt from Moroes (incidently, our old main tank that had not played in months came back for that raid, won the belt, and has not logged to play in the last three weeks, wtf mate?). All the other tank loot has only dropped once or twice, a few of the pieces three times, but no more than that. In six months, we still only have two warriors that can effectively tank Prince and Bane due to gear, and neither has full epics from there and Gruuls combined. That is messed up in my opinion.

My King's Defender finally dropped after 6 months straight of Kara. 15% drop rate... yeah... right..

Running Shadow Labs since March, exalted with Lower City and still no Shoulderguards of the Bold. They didin't dropped until July. Very same day I get the epic shoulders from Heroic Setthek. We start running Kara in mid-April the King's Defender drops once in all this time and my OT rolls on it and wins it. I have never held the KD in my hands and now am an SSC/TK tank wielding the Honor's Call. So after much ribbing from many tanks, I finally grind my blacksmithing from 262 to 375 and make Fireguard and Blazeguard spending 2k gold in the process as I'm an engineer instead of miner, for the helm. The very week Blazeguard is crafted the Mallet of Tides finally drops from Lurker after two months of farming. King's Defender how I loathe thee.

The Bold Chestpiece, completing my 5/5 Bold Armour. Been after it since February. Done Arca heroic first time and it dropped.
Shame it's out of date for the rest of the gear though! I'm a stubborn git that collects full sets though.

After raiding a lot with group 1 in Kara I still needed both Moeroes drops and the neck from maiden. Last night I helped out group 2 and I was so lucky http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28516 dropped after 20 weeks lol!

Took an extended lunch on tuesday to do kara w/ our grp 1. We got to curator and I had to leaveing everything else for them to kill. Out MT told they would hold off on NB until I could go again in the hopes the sheild or Bp would drop. Log in wensday night, get tossed a raid invite nad after a few phone calls we were off to kara. 2 wipes later (our pally was playing on his G/F's laptop and locked up at the end of the first one and begining of the second one =\), we resummon and smack his ass into the diry. RL forgot to put looton master and I saw that Bp show up and nearly cried I was so happy haha.

Maiden's are better than T4 unless you need the T4 gloves for the 2-set bonus (which is neat).

[item]Ring of a Thousand Marks[/item] - Guild has long ago stopped running Kara only able to run with !!!!$$$$@#$ alliance pugs.
It's truely the only thing I want out of Kara - and Ive seen it drop twice. Once on my 2nd run *ever* into Kara and once a week ago. Week ago: lvl 70 enhancement shaman who literally turned lvl 70 the day before won with a roll of 76.... my roll = 23.
It's time to just give up on it I suppose
