2 Manned final boss in heroic BF. All three melee dps had a brain freeze and stood in his blast wave. Just myself and the pally healer were left, took him down from about 87% to zero.

It helped that I had recently just finished regemming most of my gear with +10 str instead of + 12 stam. Having 2100 Self Buffed AP as a prot warrior is good stuff.

This will sound silly, but bear in mind I dinged 70 November 8 (the weekend before WotLK released) for the first time and haven't done anything but a normal MgT run with an overgeared group, so I haven't raided or done much instances yet at a high-level.

Going through Utgarde Keep as a filler tank for a group of newbs in cloth (only difference I had was I was a newb in plate), we wiped 6 times on Ingvar when I couldn't avoid the dark smashes. However, they told me I should have Enemy Cast Bar on, and voila! we took him down immediately without a casualty!

Also: dropping 1100g to get mats and tips for the realm-first 450 Blacksmith to craft me 5 pieces of Tempered Saronite gear. Now when I hit 75, regardless of quest rewards (which so far tend to be DPS gear) I'll have a decent set of tanking gear to last me.

I managed to tank Utgarde Keep at 71 on my DK without an actual tanky spec or tanky gear.

I was proud that I did not lose aggro at all!

Getting ganked last night by a 72 rogue and 72 War fury and winning the fight with 30% health and only used shield wall. That feel good

Hopped on my 70 Warrior last night and tanked Nexus.
This was the first time I had tanked anything for ~a year (Prince may have been the last thing I actually tanked).

One of the DKs agroes a second pack just as I pull some trash. I think there were 8 total mobs. In the confusion all DPS dies in seconds. Just me and the holy Pally. I tank and kill it all.

I have never felt that awesome as a tank.

Absolutely amazing what they have done with the Prot Warrior. Love it. Love it. LOVE IT.

Most fun one must be in a kara long long time ago, on Nightbane
Lost all but me (prot war), fury war, and 2x holy pallies at, i think it was at 65%ish health on Nightbane. and then manage to down her, after some time tho, as the DPS was rather slow. But still, was about some of the most fun I've had in kara :=)

Also our first VR kill will stay in my memory for ages. Was pre-nerfs or anything. Got him down to, 10ish % (not sure bout exact percentage), when he hit enrage, had lost some dps early, and we all just nuke to try get him down. Then with 2-3 people still alive, one of our holy priests down him. The joy and laughs on Vent, they were just amazing

Tanking and downing the Headless Horseman a month back.... at lvl 65 with green gear! Boy did I get crit like every hit! Got everything but the mount

spending 1100g to get gear that makes me T4 or T5 equivalent, even though I've never raided or had any cool epics (aside from HH helm and blade, see above).

Doing AZN, Old Kingdom, and Gundrak Saturday was fun. I was over-level for the first 2, but pretty sure I did Gundrak at -3 (either way, I was 75 and saw mobs at 77-78).

My IRL friends and I created a new guild for us, and downing Keri in Nexus was our first guild dungeon clear. Got the achievement and guild posing screenshots. First time I've done that with a guild (celebrating the accomplishment, that is).

About 15 months ago, I had a group of IRL friends (and one new friend who we met in game) who would play every night at the same time. That was my first time in a real social guild, and playing drinking games (shot/drink every time someone breaks sheep led to some intentional breaks, methinks) and running dungeons from 20 to 45 drunk as a group on vent was the best time I had on WoW.

Killing Kel'Thuzad while MTing him and his 2 icecrown guardians from 30% to 0% with 2 dps down in the 10-man version (our OT died).

I'm a tank, I love spankings.

Killing Kil'Jaeden for the first time was pretty nice too but the best moment i've ever had was the first time I killed Kalecgos pre-3.0 (my guild broke up on him in May and me and a friend rebuilt the guild from ground zero)

Too funny not to brag about.

I'm questing as a lvl 76 prot warrior. I got 2 mobs on me, a lvl 80 fury warrior (in 2 piece tier 7!) walks up with litte over half life. Sizes me up fighting and decides he's got a shot at ganking me.

About 7 stuns later, he's running for his life. Warbringer + Intercept net me a fat 75 honor (he only did about 15% dmg to me with all the stuns and disarm, ect).

I lasted about 3 minutes solo against the Rock boss in Halls of Stone.

All the DPS and healers died in the first or second shatter because they stood next to each other. After dealing with him on my own, and almost downing him myself the mage said "How are you still alive?"

Finally getting my Red Sword of Courage and my T7 Gloves last night, and pushing 1400 DPS on a heroic and surprising a guildie because he didn't believed that i was prot xDD
