I am a warrior with 39.000 HP raidbuffed, with 26% dodge, 20% parry, 17% Block and a chance of 6% beeing missed and I got virtually onehoted yesterday by decontructor several times. When getting two unmitigated, unavoided hits in a row, it was over. 27k Hit followed by a 19k Hit (5 or 6 thousand over death). Hard stuff... |

Do you guys think that, according to the stats below, I'd be geared enough for Ulduar 10 man?
(2205 Gear score on WoW-Heroes)
551 - Defense
27,750 - Health
21.61% - Dodge
18.33% - Parry
28.85% - Block
(Unbuffed) | I have 5k more hp than you, more dodge and more parry and i get rocked pretty hard in ulduar 10. Drop a lot of block and get some effective health asap.
For my guild we expect a warrior or pally tank to be at a min of 30k hp for ulduar 10, healers to be at over 2k spellpower and dps to be able to do 3k dps. Those are the mins we use.

We havent progressed very far due to the utter and total fail sauce of our dps in 10 and 25 man.

For 10 man, I'm a full Naxx 25 geared warrior with 5/5 Valorous, 25 Maly neck, etc and it's easily possible to MT my 10 man. Tank death was rarely an issue. I have 31k HP unbuffed (althought, 29k with higher avoidance or mitigation could do it) and I didn't flask for any fights we downed.
Healers and DPS can be between 10 and 25 Naxx geared, healers at 2k spell power, with a baseline for DPS at 2500 single target on the boss dummy and you can make it with a shaman for Heroism.
These are fairly average requirements, but with a good strategy, it can be done.

Not sure if this is a sidetrack on this post, but:
I'm not quite sure why, but I'm getting owned quite hard in Ulduar10. This is with 32k hp, and unhittable, unbuffed. Full 213/226 gear. Fusion punch is a hit or miss. Sometimes it quite nearly kills me, other times it doesn't. Hit the other tank once for 31k, and hit me for 7-12k. I think XT hit me for like 19k before. This is with buffs and full consumables. Armory
p.s. Armory seems to be bugged; talents are not affecting stats.

This is me (Petenrepete, Garrona US) I have no Problem in the 10 Man, How ever the 25 Man is a challange.
HP 30151
Base stats: Defenses:
Strength: 1116 Defense: 548
Agility: 175 Resilience: 0
Stamina: 2222 Dodge: 24.78%
Intellect: 42 Parry: 20.97%
Spirit: 70 Block: 23.06%
Armor: 24389
I do wish some times that My guild has some more consistancy in beeing abble to get the Job done on other parts.
FYI i know I havent completed Uldar yet, so you dont need to tell me.

My guild hasn't progressed far into 25 man Ulduar, but with my current stats now, Deconstructor isn't a problem with 2 dedicated healers to me, but Kologarn's damage on me is still ridiculous.
Unbuffed:
32,086 HP
25,062 armor, 541 defense
26.78% Dodge, 18.18% Parry, 25.70% Block (1186 blocked).
I've upgraded several pieces of my gear recently and haven't gotten the chance to tank past Deconstructor 25 man again.
Also got to tank Thorim 10 man (non-hard) through 2 unbalancing strikes. :P

I have successfully tanked the first 4 bosses (well, 3... Flame Leviathan doesn't really count, but I was at 1.51mil hp when I drove a Seige Engine...) with the following approximate stats:
30.5k Health
25.5k Armor
548 Defense
25% Dodge
20% Parry
24% Block (~1150 block)
My guild has yet to do Iron Council or Kologarn successfully (only a few attempts made so far), but I didn't really have any trouble MTing Ignis, Razorscale, or XT at any point, and none of the raiders has more than one or two pieces of Ulduar gear, but were fully decked in Naxx25-equivalent (ilvl 213/226) gear. Raid composition goes for miles here, and it takes a balanced party to manage Ulduar at every stage.

EDIT: This was Ulduar10. I'd expect the bar to be a bit higher for 25, but I can't take a stab in the dark at numbers for 25 with any sincerity in my claim.

Our DPS is at or around the 3k mark and we seem to do OK, so far we're 8/14 having only tried and downed Hodir. Freyia tonight.

Fusion punch is an attack that also adds a dot. What i have found as a Holy Paly is that i can cleanse the attack before it does any damage at all. Bascially your healers should be spamming cleanse on you as he's casting it. Have a 2nd healer stick a couple of heals on you at the same time just to be doubly sure.

Just wondering if my Druid is good enough to tank/heal 10/25 uldar or naxx.
My tank stats are 28K HP, 35% dodge and 27K Armor.
My healing 16K HP and 17K MP 2.1 bonus healing and 550 MP5.
I would like to think I am a pretty good tank/healer here is my link to armory The World of Warcraft Armory
it may show my healing gear but you can still see my talent tree if someone could take a look I would really appreciate it and maybe you could inform me witch dungeons/raids I can do at the moment and what I should change.

Greetings all, I really aprecaite the info everyone provideds here. I am new to this site but I do have a Simular question to that of Gutts. I do understand to points made above by others. High gear score dont mean high preformance. I have seen Ilvl 200 players out DPS heal or Tank Ilvl 213 players. I would agree Player skill and knowledge and execution do more for a successful takedown of a boss then the gear. That all being said, as a raid leader, it is helpful for me to know what is needed in terms of player (or group) performance to have a "reasonable" expectation of progression threw the next instance (or next area ) .
So given a set of players that are "average" casual raiders, and have a reasonable knowledge of their class and the fight strats. Is there some place to find information in terms of preformance minimum for the Roles of the Raid group?
Such as for uldaur 10
-- tanks should have a min of X hp, X mitagation, X armor? or level of DTPS?
-- Dps should have a min or X dps and Heath
-- Healers should be able to have X of HPS, X mana, X spell power and/or health?
Perhaps I am asking the same question, However I am not looking for a precise answer more of a General guideline (or a min guideline) to know if the group is ready for the next step. Oblivious players ate this level of the game should be close to Hit caps and expertise, caps as well as that 540 Def cap. My goal is to set a Goal for the player to reach before we bring him along to the next level as a way of a geranal quailfy to say your ready for the next level.
Any help or pointers to where i might find some of this information I would greatly apprecaite. Thank you for your time.
