I do change the UI scale in the video options. But the setting was saved when I packaged my UI. It sounds like you are not installing it correctly and not getting the saved variables folder.

You need to delete or backup and remove your WTF and Interface folders in your WoW folder. Then download the UI and extract it to your WOW folder. Look for the Boda UI folder and open it. Pull out the WTF and Interface folders and place them in your WoW folder. Then re-name all the appropriate folders with your info.

I have all of this listed in my install instructions on my download page.
I do everything right but the profiles aint coming up. Lol i get everything in exept The UI itself

I think your talking about the mini-map button frame? If so go into the blizzard options for Interface (the little computer icon on your micro menu, where you log out from). Click the tab that says Addons on the top left and select MiniMap Button Frame. Select the Bodasafa Profile. Or if that dosent work you can unlock it there and move and re-size it however you want.

If your not getting the UI itself you are doing something wrong. Really you download the UI, extract it to the proper folder, pull out the folders and deposit them in your WoW folder and rename the folders with your information.

When you log in you should see my UI. It may not look exactly how the screen shots show but you should see it. At that point you type in the slash commands listed on my download page to select the "Bodasafa" profile and things should snap into place.

If your not seeing my UI AT ALL, you are installing it wrong.

I'm not sure how much more help I can be, based on the information your giving me.

On a side note, I'm looking for some feed back from users of this UI.

1) Did you find my install instructions easy to follow?
2) If not, what would you have me word differently?
3) Is there any other helpful information or screen shots I could provide on my download page?

Thanks in advance,
-Boda

I really don't appreciate comments like this. I have already answered your question in a previous post in this thread.

The chat mod is called Chatter. Type /chatter to open the config. For moving the frames they work just like the default blizzard ones. If you have omen open it will cover the tabs though and you will not be able to select them. Simply click the omen icon in the mini-map buttons to close the omen window, then hover over the area above the chat box. I have chat labeled as "1" and the combat log labeled as "2". Just right click the tabs to unlock and move as needed.

Not a problem. Your question was not stupid. It was just the manner in which you asked it. Sorry if I came off as rude.

Enjoy the UI.

I have updated the information on my download page and the original post in this thread. The updated information has answers to some of the commonly asked questions I have received.

I hope this helps to clarify a few things and make using this UI easier to set up.

I welcome any suggestions on information I should include in my instructions that users of this UI feel would have been helpful.

After 3.1 settles down a bit I will put out a new download with all the latest up to date addons. Expect a new download in about a week. For the time being please continue to use the Curse Client to update your addons as needed.

Thank you and enjoy!

Bartender Issues..

Dual spec seems to be in a pain in the Arse. When I am Prot (Mainspec) All buttons are perfect. My # 1,2,3,4,5 buttons work with the corresponding ability. But when I switch to Fury (Offspec) My # 1,2,3,4,5 buttons still correspond to the Original Configurations. For example if my # 2 key is Thunderclap (Main spec) It will be #2 Thunderclap in Fury spec. So I cant use it because it requires me to be in battle stance...and its a pain in the ass to keep re-key binding after every spec. If there is a way to configure bartender to remeber the same key bindings for the same "bar" no ability for example I want Bar #1 to still have 1,2,3,4,5. (Main spec) And I want the Same bar (#1) to have the same bindings 1,2,3,4,5 but different abilities.

To make things easier this is what I want pretty much.
Main spec (Bar 1) - 1 = Heroic Strike, 2 = Thunderclap, 3 = Shield Block...etc
Off spec (Bar 1) - 1 = Heroic Strike, 2 = Bloodthirst, 3 = Slam, etc..

Sorry to write a novel but I just wanted to clearify it and solve this.

I do not use bars that change on stance with my UI (ie:# 1,2,3,4,5 buttons), because I am a full time tank with x2 prot specs. Also I don't key bind 1-5, cause Im a click player.

I also believe this is an issue between bartender and blizzard's duel spec system. When duel specs came out I had to constantly replace actions on my bars. The trick I found was to place all my actions on my bars where I wanted, then switch to the other spec and place the actions for that spec where I wanted. Once that was done once (and blizzard dose not reset our talents again ) the actions are on my bars where I want them after every spec swap.

My best advice is for you to read through information about bartender regarding stance or duel spec changing. You could possibly post a help thread here in the UI forums on tankspot for assistance as well.

Sorry I know that wasn't the greatest help, but I am not very familiar with how bartender uses stance swapping or how it interacts with 2 very different specs.
