Hello Boda, thank you for your effort indeed.

This is my first time to try different UI and i couldn't wait for this new 3.1. because i had problems with the old one.
Only left two small issues to resolve.
How to move chat window and combat log window? I tried all / commands right clicks etc. but nope...
and where is the in game calendar cant open it:P
and that is all.
Well done once again I hope I'll enjoy this UI another year or two :P
Thanks!

The in-game calendar can be turned on through Chinchilla. Just right click the mini-map and look through the options for it. Turning it on will activate the mini-map button for the calendar and you can access it through there.

The chat mod is called Chatter. Type /chatter to open the config. For moving the frames they work just like the default blizzard ones. If you have omen open it will cover the tabs though and you will not be able to select them. Simply click the omen icon in the mini-map buttons to close the omen window, then hover over the area above the chat box. I have chat labeled as "1" and the combat log labeled as "2". Just right click the tabs to unlock and move as needed.

I have also updated the download page instructions to include a few more slash commands and profiles to select.

Right now I have it set as "5" on the number pad on my keyboard. Select the target you want to mark, press the key and all the symbols show up on your pointer, just select the one you want.

To change the keybind for this go into the keybinds settings in the blizzard menu and its near the bottom.

Edit: you also have to be the raid or party leader to mark or have an assist.

I have updated some info on the download page. Specifically that I forgot to remove SKG when I packaged the UI. SKG is the client side of the loot mod our guild uses. If your guild does not use it I would recommend deleting it, cause it can cause bug sack errors if not kept up to date.

The information in original post was updated on 3/22/09. All I have changed in this latest release is the removal of SKG a loot mod our guild uses. Users of this UI who have already downloaded the previous 3.1 version do not need to re-download the UI if you simply deleted SKG from your addons folder.

The option to disable the blizzard player portrait is in the Archud2 config. Type /archud config to open it. Near the top there should be a selection that will open up a small window with an option to disable that. It might be a select server issue as I have not found any issues with my UI since I have put it up for download.

If its the x-perl frame you just disable it in the addons when your at your character screen. I delete the parts of x-perl and quartz that I do not use. But after updating them through the curse client it may install all the options again and you will need to disable them or remove them.

Heres the list of options I keep for each addon so they function with my UI:

Quartz:
Quartz
Quartz_Player
Quartz_Target

X-perl:
Xperl
Xperl_ArcaneBar
Xperl_CustomHighlight
Xperl_Options
Xperl_Party
Xperl_RaidAdmin
Xperl_RaidFrames
Xperl_RaidHelper (This is the Main Tank Targets)
Xperl_RaidMonitor

If you see a option in your addons folder (related to these 2 addons) not listed above you can safely delete it an use the UI as it was intended.

My latest UI version 5.1 released today with the extra options stripped out.

This seems like a great UI and seems like everyone likes it!
Greet Job Bodasafa!

But I have a quick question.
When I log in and do the following /commands that you have typed up there, I go to load your profile but your name isnt under any of them.
Any idea why?
Sorry if this seems like a stupid question btw. Everyother time i downloaded UI Packages like this one i just costumized it myself. But yours looks great and simple. Thats how i want my ui to look like!

Thanks Alot and Great Job Again!

Try selecting the default profiles, it is possible that some of them did not get saved to my name per-say but my saved variables folder should activate the settings of the addon when the proper profile is selected. I would pick one addon that appears to be out of place and try every profile available and see if that does the trick.

There is a slim possibility I messed up packaging the latest UI version 5.1 (but I doubt it). If none of the above works try downloading the Archived file version 5.0. That version is 3.1 ready, you will just need to delete SKG from the addon folder.

If anyone else is finding any problems with the 5.1 release let me know please and Ill put up a new download.

Seems one of the people who had issues concerning the profiles managed to fix it. Im trying to get more information to what the issue was and what the fix was so I can pass it along to anyone else who has a similar problem.

Aside from the 1-2 profile issues, I have no reported problems.

Enjoy.

Need help find one of your addons.

I am looking for the addon that replaces your profile pic, health bar, rage/mana/energy bar and the targets healthbar/mana. I was going through the list of addons you use and could not seem to find that one. I was wondering if you could give me the name of it.

I am having a hard time understanding what you wrote here. But I have addressed the Blizzard Frame and Profile issue in previous posts, just scroll up and read them. As far as the resolution issue I would need more detailed information to be able to help.

Installing Question

So when you said go to Curse.com and download the addon manager, you mean Oomni Addon Manager? It seems that is the only addon that comes up when I search for it.

No.

1) Got to Curse.com - WoW Addons WAR Addons Gamer Blogs Forums
2) Look near the top of the page there is a section called "Curse Network Services"
3) There are 4 tabs there. The second one from the left is "Curse Client"
4) Click that tab and follow the instructions.

I do change the UI scale in the video options. But the setting was saved when I packaged my UI. It sounds like you are not installing it correctly and not getting the saved variables folder.

You need to delete or backup and remove your WTF and Interface folders in your WoW folder. Then download the UI and extract it to your WOW folder. Look for the Boda UI folder and open it. Pull out the WTF and Interface folders and place them in your WoW folder. Then re-name all the appropriate folders with your info.

I have all of this listed in my install instructions on my download page.
