I play a resto druid and I love having a competition with other healers. I think it gives raiding a more fun side. None of my guild posts healing or damage charts, but we all have meters and know what is going on and who is doing very good or who is slacking. I would say a paladin healer is mostly top on the charts because they always are spamming heals. Most paladins i see have about 65-75% overheal on their heals, but also you have to take into account what fight it is and how much avoidance the tanks have. For example faction champs.. Paladins should not be topping the charts.

Hi,
-What you healers think about it?
-Do you think there are some classes that are necessarily on the top of the charts?
-Do you allow healing charts to be posted?
-Do you give a damn about the ranking given by the meter?
#1, definitely there are classes/specs that will dominate certain fights. a disc priest is gona suck it up on a fight with massive raid damage, while a holy priest is gona suck on a fight with massive single target tank damage. (i havent checked out icecrown yet, but lucky for me the latest fights are all designed for a holy priest to either top or hit 2nd) a disc priest will lose almost every healing meter, but do their 6-7k PWS and crit shields not defend a tank from burst? smart players know which class should top the meters per each fight, and the retards will think whatever it is retards think about, but no one cares about them as long as they dont stand in the fire and press 3-4 buttons.

#2, why not, it keeps people competative. take away competition and why should anyone pve. whats the worst that can happen. some kid gets upset hes not #1 cause hes terrible and goes on an emotional spree? do you want those types of people in your raid anyway?

#3, you ever win a participants trophy for t-ball as a kid? did it feel good? or did you want the big ass trophy that came with a pizza party? again smart people can interpret a meter.

-if a paladin gets last on effective healing, but his tank never dips under 60%... do you kick him
-if a priest/druid gets last on eff healing, but no one in the raid dies... do you kick them?
